This year's shirts will be PURPLE!!!
In celebration of the 30th Anniversary of Mark Mikel being a Purple Ace at the University of Evansville where he met Rick Stucky. Rick is responsible for converting Mark from a lowly, mediocre high jumper to the well-known and successful distance runner and guru that he is today.
Rick also has been a huge support to Mark, Kathy, and the girls as they have healed from Kelsey's death. Rick and his wife, Rachel flew from Oregon to be with the Mikels the weekend of Kelsey's accident. On the one year anniversary of Kelsey's death, Ricky (as Mark calls him) came back to be with Mark at the Elkhart Christian Academy Cross Country Invitational -- the meet Mark missed while at the hospital with Kelsey the year before.
In tribute of the best friend a grieving father could have, this year's shirts are purple.
Canned Food Drive
Bring non-perishable food items to this year's I'm Thankful Four to be donated to the Family Christian Development Center in Nappanee. Help our local food pantry to keep stocked during the holidays.
